PERMANENT MAKEUP LIPS

Lip Colours, Refined for you

From soft translucent to carefully balanced neutralisation, every lip treatment is customised around your natural lip tone, features and the result you would like to achieve.

SOFT COLOUR | BALANCED TONE | PERSONALISED ARTISTRY

A SUBTLE ENHANCEMENT

Bespoke Lip Colour, Designed to Heal Softly

Permanent makeup for lips is a customised colour treatment designed to enhance the appearance of the natural lips. Depending on the starting condition and desired result, the treatment may add a soft wash of colour, create a delicate gradient, improve overall tone, visually balance mild asymmetry, or neutralise unwanted darkness.

The goal is not to create one standard lip colour for everyone. Pigment selection, saturation and technique are adjusted according to your natural lip tone, existing pigmentation, lip condition and personal preference.

The final result is designed around your own lips — not copied from a fixed colour chart.

IMPORTANT EXPECTATION

Fresh Colour Is Not The Final Colour

Immediately after lip PMU, the colour will appear brighter, stronger and more saturated than the intended result. Mild swelling may also make the lips look fuller or slightly uneven at first. As the lips heal, the colour will soften, settle and gradually reveal a more natural-looking tone. Please allow the complete healing process before judging the final colour, balance and overall result.

RIGHT AFTER

Stronger | Brighter | More Defined

Fresh lip colour appears stronger and more saturated immediately after treatment, then softens as the lips heal.

DURING HEALING

Lighter | Patchy | Settling

Colour can temporarily appear uneven while the lips continue to recover.

lipstages3_edited.jpg

HEALED

Soft | Integrated | Natural

The colour settles into the natural lip base and should only then be properly assessed.

HEALING + LONGEVITY

What Lip Healing May Look Like

DAY 1-2

Fresh & Intense

The colour may appear brighter and more intense immediately after treatment. Temporary swelling, tenderness or sensitivity may occur.

DAY 2-7

Dryness & Peeling

The lips may feel dry or tight and begin to peel lightly. Avoid picking, rubbing or removing any peeling skin.

WEEK 2-4

Colour Settling

The colour may temporarily appear lighter or slightly uneven while the lips continue to recover and the pigment settles.

WEEK 4-8

HEALED RESULT

The lip colour becomes softer and more natural. Once fully healed, the final tone and pigment retention can be properly assessed.

Longevity varies according to technique, natural lip condition, pigment retention, lifestyle, skincare, sun exposure and individual healing response. A colour refresh can be considered when the healed colour has softened and the lips are ready.

Lip PMU gradually softens over time.

EXPERTISE SPOTLIGHT

Dark Lips Neutralisation

When the starting lip tone changes the plan.

Dark lips Neutralisation is a gradual process guided by the lips' natural pigmentation and their response after healing. Each healed stage is assessed before the next colour direction is selected, allowing deeper or uneven tones to be balanced progressively while respecting the natural lip condition.

Before Treatment

Natural Tone| Deeper | Uneven

Healed After Session 1

Brighter | Softer | Balanced

Healed After Session 2

Refined | Even | Natural

Why More Than One Session?

Darker or uneven pigmentation may not neutralise evenly in a single session. Allowing each stage to heal helps me assess the colour response and customise the next session accordingly.

The Goal

To gradually soften unwanted darkness, improve overall tone balance and create a more even base for the desired lip colour — while respecting the lips' natural condition.

When Another Approach May Be Better

For very dark or stubborn pigmentation, USFT Pink Lips Reborn may be recommended before lip colour treatment. The most suitable approach will be advised after a personalised assessment.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Before You Begin

Find answers to common questions about PMU Lips and your care journey.

Which lip PMU approach is right for me? Your natural lip tone, shape, pigmentation, existing lip PMU and desired result will be assessed before the most suitable approach is recommended.

Can you work over my existing lip PMU? Not every previous lip tattoo is suitable for immediate correction. Fading, removal or a carefully adjusted colour plan may be recommended after assessment.

Will the colour stay this bright? Freshly treated lips normally appear brighter and more intense, then soften considerably as they heal into a more natural-looking tone.

Can Dark or uneven lips be treated? Yes, but darker or uneven pigmentation may require neutralisation before the desired lip colour can be developed gradually.

How many sessions will I need? The number of sessions depends on your starting lip tone, pigment response and desired result. Neutralisation and correction cases commonly require multiple sessions.
